About Us

Falkirk Full Gospel Church is a fellowship that has existed in Falkirk for many decades. However, we have not always met at our former building on Thornhill Road, Falkirk. The Church was set up by Billy Watters, a former war veteran and his wife Bridie Watters as a Gospel Mission hall for the community.

The Gospel Mission under Evangelist and Pastor Watters started in 1981 after which they left for Ireland. Pastor Billy Waters was a minister who really believed in reaching people with the Gospel. He regularly did outreach meetings for the community and stood for truth and integrity. Pastor Billy had a heart for the broken, poor, sick and those who were addicts and made every effort to reach and help these people. He was a true example of an authentic minister who modelled the life of Jesus well.

After Billy & Bridie left for Ireland, the Gospel Mission was then passed on to Pastor Comfort Harry, after being under their leadership for a few years. At that time most members were elderly. Therefore, at this point the Pastor's intention was then to build a formal building for all ages.
The building was unusable to a degree and due to the high demand of the youth, the building was demolished in 2003. This was in order to rebuild the old structure to make a long lasting modern building for better continuity and advancement of the youth work and other related ministries.
The church members have met in various locations over the years as the church has sought to raise funds to rebuild the church. If you want to know more about the history of the building and our future plans for it, please check our "Building Project" page.
Over the years, Falkirk Full Gospel church has experienced great times of seeing the presence of God tangibly impacting lives. This included lives changed, healed and set free from various problems and addictions. It has always been a vibrant church that had a key role in the local community. We expect to see this again in the future
The Falkirk Full Gospel Church was officially restarted in January 2016 and we are excited about the future. We hope you will join us in our journey to see great things in the church, our community and nation.

Our Mission

Our mission is to see our community, region and nation thriving. This includes seeing families, schools, media, government and indeed all areas of society being blessed. We want to see the broken, poor and those with addictions all restored and people without purpose finding meaning in life. We also want to see all people equipped to fulfil their destiny in life. We believe this is all possible through prayer and action. Our prayer is that this would happen with Jesus at the heart of it all.
